About SIFT
Seed International Fund Trust (SIFT) is a UK registered charity, number 1094193. In this policy, the terms ‘us’, ‘we’ and ‘our’ refer to SIFT.
What information does SIFT collect about me?
We collect personal information directly from you when you interact with us, for example by signing up to receive our newsletter or by making a donation to SIFT. Information may be collected in person, over the phone, by email, on paper, or through the SIFT website.
The personal information that we collect typically consists of your name, your contact details and your bank details if you are setting up a regular donation to SIFT by Standing Order. We also keep a record of donations that you have made to SIFT and items of correspondence that have been sent to you or received from you.
We also collect your personal information if you make a donation to SIFT via a fundraising site such as JustGiving and consent to your details being shared with us. For further information on how third parties such as JustGiving processes your data, please refer to their individual privacy policies. We currently receive personal information from the following organisations: JustGiving, CAF, Stewardship, Virgin Money Giving, PayPal and MuchLoved.
If you make a donation to SIFT through PayPal, or through an organisation such as JustGiving, the transaction is processed entirely by the third party organisation and not by SIFT. We do not receive the details of the credit or debit card that was used to make the donation.
When you use the SIFT website some non-personal information is collected via Google Analytics, including your IP address and the pages that you visited. This information is not personally identifiable and is only used to help us improve the SIFT website for future visitors.
